Desafío Maldini is a soccer trivia game where players have to show they know as much about the beautiful game as Julio Maldonado (Maldini) himself does.
Gameplay in Desafío Maldini is very simple: players can challenge any other player to an online game that consists of five questions, each with four possible answers. The quicker you answer each question, the more points you get ... although if you get it wrong, you won't get anything. (So it's not a good idea to click on the first answer you see without thinking about it.)
At the beginning of each game, players can select whether they want questions pertaining to international soccer or just Spanish soccer. No matter what you pick, you'll probably end up answering questions about the Yugoslavian player from ages ago that scored the third goal of the quarterfinals in the championship for Croatia's fifth division. Or something like that.
In addition to this online mode, the main appeal of Desafío Maldini is that players have the option of practicing offline and without any challengers. When you do challenge someone, you can pick a random opponent or a friend from Facebook.
Desafío Maldini is an excellent game for sports questions that will be attractive especially to soccer fanatics. You'll never know as much as Maldini, but at least with this game you can try try.
